For many, the 
COVID summer of 2020 was a bit out of character and certainly atypical. We missed out on sports, hobby days, trips to amusement parks, campfires and hanging at the lake. As we finally come back to reality, we are feeling a bit lost. Thankfully, getting off track doesn’t mean we can’t get back on.
So, how do we get back on track?
- Get into a routine – Once you get into a rhythm it will be easy to form good habits
- Set Goals – What do you want to accomplish in the future? Make a list. Write them down and get to work. Be competitive with yourself and not others.
- Remember that everyone is in the same boat – Many of us feel the anxiety and stress as we try to navigate through the “new normal”. Rest assured, your friends, family and teammates are most likely feeling the same way. It may be easier to get back on track knowing that you’re not alone.
It took me some time to snap back to reality. I really took the majority of the summer to escape with my family. I have gone through the list above and my head is back in gear prepping for Brant Lake Sports Academy’s 10th anniversary. I am read to take on the fall of 2020 and start making things happen.
This way, I can assure you that the SUMMER of 2021 will be our greatest yet!
