As we move into the new year, we already feel a change in the minds and attitudes of many. January’s unofficial motto is “New Year, New You.” So, what are you going to do to remain healthy in 2021?
- SELF CARE – Bettering yourself mentally is NOT an easy task. One thing I try to do to keep my mind at ease is to set goals and plan ahead. This helps me to cut down on wasted time. It also helps to keep a balance between your work/school and personal life. Keep your mind going in one direction. FOCUS!
- WELLNESS – This is something 2020 took a hold of. It’s time to get it back! COVID took a toll on all of us. Let’s get back on track. Schedule your annual check-ups, book virtual consultations, catch up on your sleep, drink more water and take care of yourself.
- SWEAT IT OUT – Whether you’re out for a run, on your Peleton or on the field with your teammates, there’s nothing better than a good, old-fashioned sweat session. Let out the steam and clear your mind. Always remember that exercise is good for your mind, body and soul. And don’t forget to set those exercise goals too!
- BE KIND – This year, more than ever, it’s time to turn this world around and practice random acts of kindness. There’s no better feeling than being able to take time out of your day to help someone else out, whether it’s a stranger on the street or a family member in your home.
