Basketball
Born and raised in Wayne, Pennsylvania. Dr. Deb spent her formative years attending sports camps and being a camp counselor. Dr. Deb went on to play basketball at the University of Virginia where she was named Captain her senior year. Dr. Deb always had a passion for learning. Post undergrad, she earned her Masters at the University of North Carolina while playing club lacrosse. Dr. Deb’s education didn’t stop there, as she also received her PhD in Business from Capella University. With all of her learning experiences, Dr. Deb realized she had a passion for teaching and was always an enthusiastic entrepreneur.
Dr. Deb’s career path consists of being the former Director of the NCAA Volunteers for Youth Program, the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at the University of North Carolina, aProfessor at the University of North Carolina. She currently resides in North Carolina, teaching various courses in the sport business and entrepreneurship domains, advises students on their life choices and encourages all persons who want to make the world a better place.
