Assistant Director, BLSA – Fitness, Softball, Athletic Training

Chloe’s first summer was in 2017, when she worked as BLC’s athletic trainer and coached BLSA’s Green Team during Green and Gray Basketball. She fell in love with BLC and BLSA and came back next year as BLSA’s Assistant Director.
Chloe earned her BS in Athletic Training at the University of Iowa where she spent her four years working alongside Iowa’s football, women’s basketball, women’s gymnastics, track and field, and wrestling teams.
Chloe went on to become a Certified Athletic Trainer, working for elite Iowa High Schools before moving back home to Manhattan. Chloe is now Assistant Athletic Director and Athletic Trainer for The Nightingale-Bamford School, a private all-girls K-12 school on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, where she works with all athletic teams.
Chloe always jumps onto any court or field to play whenever an opportunity arises. Chloe loves coaching girls to help them grow as confident, well-rounded individuals. Chloe lives in Long Island City with her husband, Max Gersten, and their two golden retrievers, Jack and MJ.
