Parents are expected to provide transportation to Brant Lake Sports Academy for their daughter on the opening morning of the 2-week session. (More information about travel and her stay will be included in an Information Booklet sent out in the early spring).
Below are directions to camp, along with other travel options. For those camper-athletes who will be coming via train, bus or plane, we will arrange to have them met at the appropriate location and brought directly to camp.
For the return trip home, Brant Lake Sports Academy will provide charter coach bus transportation back to the New York Metropolitan area for those who would like this option. For those campers not taking the bus, travel plans need to be made by parents which will be coordinated and supported by our office staff. As with travel to camp, we will make departure arrangements to get your children to the Albany airport or train station to make their connection.
By AUTO: (From the New York City area approx. 230 miles/4 hours)
Take the New York Thruway North (I-87) to Exit 24, towards Montreal and Albany. After the toll, proceed onto I-87 North (The Northway) and continue to follow signs towards Montreal. Continue about an hour and a half and take Exit 25, which is marked Brant Lake, Hague and Chestertown. At the end of the exit ramp, go right onto Route 8 East. Brant Lake Camp (Brant Lake Sports Academy) is 6 miles from the exit on Route 8, just over a mile past Point O' Pines.

Proceed by rented car or taxi to camp, which is approximately 1.5 hours north of Albany on I-87 (The Northway). Then follow directions above.
For those who are arriving by private plane, please plan to arrive at the Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport in Queensbury, NY (www.warrencountydpw.com/Airport_07)
